His target will now be the British Indoor trials for Turkey which take place in Sheffield on February 11\/12.<\/p>\n<p>David Bishop returned to form with a seventh place finish in the same race in 8.07.65 \u2013 not far off his PB for the distance. David also has his eyes on the Indoor trials in Sheffield.<\/p>\n<p>The third Scot involved in the Gladstein Invitational 3000 metres was Callum Hawkins with the Butler University student finishing 19th in 8.23.58.<\/p>\n<p>Chris O\u2019Hare was another Scottish athlete in impressive form over last weekend in the United States.<\/p>\n<p>The 21-year-old University of Tulsa student won the J.D.Martin Invitational 800 metres race at Oklahoma University last\u00a0 Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>Chris (pictured) triumphed in 1.52.60 with a margin of more than three seconds from Matt Russ from North Texas.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Chris was reasonably satisfied with his 800 metre run and although not particularly fast the victory gap was enough that he didn\u2019t need to force it over the final few stretch,\u2019 said his father, Terry O\u2019Hare.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018He was second in the National Collegiate Indoor Mile last year with a time of 3.56.4 and he has targeted that event again later this spring.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Before that he has an invitation to race in New York at the Armoury in the Millrose Games event. It is a prestigious meeting\u00a0 but probably only the Americans could call the race the \u2018Wanamaker Mile\u2019 !<\/p>\n<p>\u2018My wife and I are planning to be in New York for that one and we\u2019re looking forward to seeing Chris race.
