Mo Farah for Glasgow Grand Prix

The event schedule for the Sainsbury’s Glasgow Grand Prix on July 11-12 has been confirmed with double Olympic and world champion Mo Farah (Alberto Salazar) set to compete on the second day of the prestigious IAAF Diamond League meet at Hampden Park.

Farah will be joined by world 400m champion Christine Ohuruogu (Lloyd Cowan) and Olympic long jump champion Greg Rutherford (Jonas Tawiah-Dodoo) and the world’s box office stars just two weeks before the Commonwealth Games gets underway in the city.

Friday 11th July

MEN

Diamond League Events – 100m (A+B), 5,000m, 400m hurdles, Shot
Non-Diamond League Events – 200m, 110m hurdles heats/final, High jump, Pole vault
Disability Events – T54 1500m

WOMEN

Diamond League Events – 400m, 1500m, Long jump, Discus
Non-Diamond League Events – 400m hurdles, 4x100m
Disability Events – F44 Long jump

Saturday 12th July

MEN

Diamond League Events – 800m, Triple jump, Javelin
Non-Diamond League Events – 400m, 1500m, Long jump, 4x100m, Additional event featuring Mo Farah
Disability Events – T44 100m

WOMEN

Diamond League Events – 200m, 3,000m steeplechase, 100m hurdles, High jump, Pole vault
Non-Diamond League Events – 100m (A+B), 800m
Disability Events – T11-13 100, T34 100m

Also confirmed for the Sainsbury’s Glasgow Grand Prix are world 4x400m bronze medallist Eilidh Child (Malcolm Arnold), 2003 world 100m champion Kim Collins and Paralympic and world silver medallist Libby Clegg (Keith Antoine).
